Greetings! 

I’m sending this important update to you as a friend and supporter of Priority One Delaware Valley and Freedom House.

THE BACKGROUND
As you might remember, in July of 2018 in the midst of the pandemic and a national shutdown, the Lord led me to acquire a house where we could continue to meet with men individually and in groups. I spoke to the local landlord about renting the property, we struck a deal, and Freedom House was born! 

​

Since then, God has faithfully provided funding for the house and has continued to bless the ministries that happen in that space:

• We host a monthly fire for men of all ages and faiths. This is an easy, laid-back time of connection and introduction to the ministry for many, allowing men to share stories and build bonds. Attendance has grown to 50–80 men each month. 

• These bonds deepen within a variety of groups for men hosted at Freedom House, including Bible studies, discipleship groups, and sexual addiction recovery groups. 

• Finally, we conduct Wild at Heart Basic twice each year, a profound life-changing weekend for men.

All of this only happens as a result of the generous funding and prayer support that YOU have provided by partnering with us.

 

WHAT’S CHANGING
Earlier this year, I spent considerable time prayerfully seeking a way to ensure that Freedom House would continue seamlessly in the event I either retired or could no longer continue to serve. Out of that time, and much discussion with a few faithful men, came a vision to incorporate Freedom House and establish it as a 501c3 non-profit ministry.

In order to consolidate the various activities I am involved in between Freedom House and Priority One, and create greater clarity around our mission and vision, the decision has been made to end my time with Priority One and formally relaunch these activities under the newly-formed Freedom House Ministries of PA. 

​

I am extremely grateful for the opportunities provided for me by Priority One and the support and encouragement they have provided for me these past seven years. The executive director and the board are fully aware and supportive of our new direction. I am blessed to have these relationships continuing into the future.

This is a very exciting time for us! We are praying and planning for the Lord to double the number of men we can serve at the house in the next two years. Our growth is promising. Men are finding their hard-fought freedom and being prepared for group leadership. It’s never been more critical to ask for your continued support, both financially and prayerfully.
